How Things Work

Some hints and tips that will help you enjoy your stay.

The coffee Maker can be used for "Americana", "Cappuccino" or "Espresso".

To make a coffee:

Make sure the water reservoir has water.
Turn on the machine by pressing the top and bottom buttons.
When the green light comes on the water is hot enough to make coffee.
Press the middle button to dispense the coffee. Press the button again to stop dispensing.

To steam the milk:

Use "Latte Parzialmente Scremato" Low fat milk (has less fat & makes better froth).
On the top of the coffee machine there is a black knob. Turning this will make the steam.
The steamer nozzle is on the right side of the machine. The steam comes out quickly so be careful.
When you are done press the top button again which will turn the machine off.

Soap tablets are under the kitchen sink.
The dishwasher has many possible settings. By pressing the "Programe" button you can choose different options. When you have a cycle chosen that you like, add soap tablet, press Avvia, and close the door.
Please do not put wooden objects in the dishwasher.

Soap is in the cupboard in the bathroom.
Turn machine on by pressing the top larger white button.
Choose a washing program. Most washes do well on setting 3 "Normale"
European washers have VERY LONG PROGRAMS (Hours sometimes).
If you want a quicker wash simply press "Rapido"
Press the smaller white button (below the power button) That will lock the washer and start the wash.
When the washer is in action the door is locked and will not unlock until the wash is done and two more minutes have passed (don't ask me why you have to wait two more minutes).

If it stops working you may need to reset the WiFi. Press the reset button on the back of the white WiFi Box. If that doesn't work try unplugging the power cord for the Satellite receiver and plugging it back in.
The Password for the house can be found on the refrigerator door.
Turn off your Data Roaming when you arrive (it will save you a small fortune).
